It’s been twelve months since the incredible, musical masterpiece that is ‘Baby Shark’ took over the entire planet. I still vividly remember the entire family bopping around the pool to it on our summer holiday to Fuerteventura last year.
Twelve months on and the song is still a huge hit at home, at parties, at nursery… EVERYWHERE!
An now we’re able to enjoy the song while playing some incredible interactive games from PinkFong. Today we’re reviewing two different games; The Hide & Seek wooden sound puzzle and the Let’s Go Hunt game.
Hide & Seek Wooden Sound Puzzle
The Hide & Seek wooden sound puzzle is designed to encourage learn and play for young children between the ages of two and four.
The puzzle requires two AAA batteries – not included. This allows the songs to be played out of the speaker in the corner upon the correct shark being placed in the correct location.
Matilda, who’s going to be three next month loved this puzzle. She even named us all after one of the sharks. I was daddy shark, she was mummy shark (because she loves pink), older brother Frankie was grandad shark, mummy was grandma shark and aunty Helly was the classic, baby shark.
The puzzle was a great way for us to learn about colours and family relationships. It also helped develop Matilda’s fine motor skills which are fantastic, especially compared to what Frankie (her older brothers) were at that age.
Let’s Go Hunt Game
If you’re looking for a game to get the entire family together then the Let’s Go Hunt Game is the one for you!
The game is designed for between two and four players and requires two AA batteries – not included.
The aim of the game is to catch more sharks than the other players. As the sharks swim around to the Baby Shark song, the speed increases making the task more difficult.
Of the two games, this was definitely the favourite. We must have played this for three hours continuously between the five of us. It’s safe to say I had the song stuck in my head for three days after that!
