Face Paintoos Review – Simple And Easy Facepaint Alternative

I don’t know many children or parents for that matter that don’t love facepaint for a party. Matilda and friends were no different and we very excited to have a face painter for her 3rd birthday. The guys over a Face Paintoos wanted to send us a party pack to put them to the test at the party. We decided to let the kids have normal face paint while some of the adults tested out the Face Paintoos and thought we would see who came out best at the end.

What Are Face Paintoos?

Face Paintoos are a easy and simple alternative face painting kit you can do yourself at home. Remember those tattoos you got in party bags and magazines that you apply with water? That is exactly the same method as Face Paintoos. It is that easy!!

The Face Paintoos packs are really fun, imaginative and really detailed. We were lucky enough to be sent the party pack which retails for £19.99. The party pack has 20 applications inside and there are 10 different designs. There are other packs such as a pet pack, wild pack and a magical pack that retail for £9.99 with 5 applications inside.

What Do You Get In The Face Paintoos Party Pack?

The party pack includes 20 tattoos, including wild animals, magical creatures and cutest pets. There are also remover wipes included enough for everyone, application sponges and instructions.

What We Thought Of The Face Paintoos

We were really excited that the Face Paintoos arrived in time for Matilda’s birthday party. As there was already a face painter booked in for the children we decided to use the Face Paintoos on the adults to compare to the normal face painting.

We applied the designs quite early on before the face painter arrived and applied really easy. The designs lasted through sweaty activities on the bouncy castle, accidental scratching on the design and food splats.

As the adults were trying out the Face Paintoos we decided something more subtle like the dolphin, the unicorn and the fairy were best fitted. The party was unicorn/princess theme so we all really tried to blend in with the cool kids. The designs didn’t hurt to take off, they didn’t itch or irritate the skin which is a big bonus for children.

The application was really easy and simple, all we needed in addition to the kit was a cup or bowl of water and a pair of scissors. Each sheet came with 2 of the same design on so there were 2 unicorn applications etc. This was really good because so many of the girls decided to be unicorns at the party.

I really enjoyed playing around with the kit and didn’t want to take off my design when it came to doing the food shopping later on. The kit is easy to use and simple to pack away and store for the next party. There is no heavy cleaning up of brushes and palettes or worrying about the paint staining nice clothes.

I would really advise getting these for anyone looking to have a face painting activity at a party. I would even say these are super fun for adults to have at more grown-up parties! The advantages of the Face Paintoos pack are massive and such a weight off the mind when it comes to party planning. It can be there waiting for you to use and be put away at any point and you don’t have to worry.

The face painter for 1 hour was £60 and she painted roughly 10-12 children and 1 adult faces. We managed to get 3 adults done in roughly 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. The big bonus is that the party pack is £19.99 for 20 designs and can be done at any time throughout the party. It only needs an adult with a cup of water and sponge to apply the design.

Overall we were all really impressed with the Face Paintoos Party Pack and would definitely use them again for our next party. I am already looking forward to using the rest of the pack and try out some new designs. We were impressed with the designs, the details and how easy it was to apply. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking to have face painting for their next party.
