Complete with four booster packs, one rare card, an online code and an amazing highly detailed tin. The Pokemon Legends of Alola tin is a great item for any Pokemon fan.
The Pokemon trading card game has been around for as long as I can remember. Helen and I recently started collecting the cards to hopefully pass on to our child one day. The essence of Pokemon TCG (Trading Card Game) is the trading and playing of the cards. This teaches kids great communication skills, teamwork, organisation and more…
The Pokemon Tin
Today we’re looking at the Pokemon Legends of Aloah tin. Tins are perhaps the most expensive way to obtain Pokemon cards as you often pay for the manufacture of the tin itself. However, the tin can be a great way to store cards.
If you already have a Pokemon card storage system then maybe purchasing a tin isn’t going to be right for you.
The tin itself is home to some fantastic artwork. Perfect for any Pokemon fan! Most tins you’ll find are vacuum sealed to prevent people opening the tin in stores and so all you’ll be able to see is the rare – in this case GX card in the front window.
Inside The Legends of Alola Tin
Open up the tin and we have the loose GX rare card, one online code and four booster packs. Booster packs are made up of 10 cards and retail for £3.50 each.
In this case, the booster packs are from three different decks;
Sun & Moon
This can be great if you’re looking to open a variety of different decks. However, it also means you’re starting three decks and if you’ve none of these decks previously then starting three decks at one time can be overwhelming to a collector.
As for the online game. It’s not something we’re interested in playing – collecting the cards in physical form costs us enough so we tend to sell the codes online to fund our addiction for the physical cards.
